IRB Infra ends up 2% on rise in net profit

The stock ended with a gain of 2% at Rs 136. According to a release issued by the company to the BSE, the group"s net profit has surged 54% to Rs 175.85 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009 as compared to Rs 113.93 crore in the corresponding year. Total income has increased 30% to Rs 1,021.48 crore from Rs 784.73 crore in the previous year.
