US markets edge up

US markets edged up on Monday. The Dow added 30 points to 10,501. The Nasdaq gained 22 points (1%) at 2,212. However, Indian ADRs were mixed. Negative view on state-run oil cos: Fitch Jan cement sales in high double-digit Meanwhile, Infosys gained 2% at $53.4. Wipro and Genpact added around 1% to $20.12 and $14.2, respectively.

Consumers peeved at inferior coal quality

The coal consumers drawing coal from the Basundhara coal block under the command area of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) continue to grapple with the problem of inferior quality of coal supplied to them.

Natco Pharma FY09 net rises 8.5% at Rs 44 cr

Hyderabad-based drug maker Natco Pharma reported an 8.5 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 43.98 crore for the year ended March 2009, compared with Rs 40.52 crore posted in the previous year.
